How to plan your house interiors

Our house is a place where we relax, spend quality time with our loved ones, have fun and literally live. Being in a comfortable house is very important to ensure there’s a peaceful and organized lifestyle.

Interiors of the house, play equal role in beautifying the house. Hence it is necessary to ensure that there are great interiors in the house.

So, how does a house look beautiful? How much of the space can be occupied for the interiors? There is any minimum space that interiors have to be done, if so what are the figures and facts? If you are one among them who have these ideas, then you should go ahead reading the blog.

  1. Look forward

The first thing that has to be considered while getting the interiors done is to consider the purpose of the house. If you are going to live in the house or the house is going on rent or lease, is an important aspect to be considered.

Apart from that you should consider the size of the house, whether it is a flat, villa or a bungalow. Depending on the size of the house, you can consider the need of furniture. Consider what type of design you in the long run, whether you are going for a simple design or choosing sophisticated, customized designs.

 2. Choose the colours

Colours do matter, when it comes to interiors. The type of the colours you choose, explains your personality. So choose light, supple colours while going for a small sized house. If your house is big, then any colour can fit in.

If your house is dark, then choose lighter shades, that can illuminate the light. If the room is very bright, then choose dark, woody colours. If the room is bright enough, then choose neutral shades.

3. How much and How?

Another important aspect that comes in to light is how much space you utilize for the interiors. Typically, you can use 25 to 30% of the total house space for interiors for a clean and nice look. Also, how much space you should choose for your interiors depend upon the storage necessities you have.

If you have a lot of storage, then 40% of the total house space can go into interiors. More than that can make the house cluttery and reduce the floor space.

So plan ahead and draw a perfect pitch for your interiors. 🙂
